What is EDDM?

Every Door Direct Mailer (EDDM) is a tool offered by the U.S. Postal Service that provides you with the option to deliver a mailer to every single house on a mail carrier's route. Just simply drop the mailers off at the nearest post office, choose your drop date up to 30 days in advance, and see your mailer hit doorsteps in a matter of days.

Before You Get Started

Please note, this is a complex EDDM that can take 15 minutes or more to finish. We recommend setting aside time to get all your thoughts organized before you begin working on the mailer. Create a Google or Word document as an outline before starting.

The Basics

Aside from your contact information, you'll need two personal photos or headshots, a personal or company logo, and eight property photos. We recommend using both interior and exterior shots. On the front of the mailer, you will customize the “5 Things You Get When You Work With Me” description. This template is completely customizable.

  1. Visit your BB Plus profile using the waffle icon in the top right corner.
  2. Click the Edit Primary Brand Color widget.
  3. Select your brand color with the color picker or enter the Hexcode and click Select.
